Lafai and Mann's form of late would have been noticed and surely it would not be odd for them to receive offers right now however, if they were signed earlier in the season, I'm sure their extensions would be a fast and simple process.

Give up CO he doesn't bend. Despite his abysmal form over the past two years Possm would have signed up Lafai for a new contract prior to this season commencing. Know who I'd rather have in recruitment.

To be honest I don't think any of us would mate. But there's definitely a fire burning with the boys so whatever they are doing I hope they keep it up! I for one am enjoying watching our games for the first time in a long time. I think the club was right to let the players prove their worth. Just unfortunate we have to lose a couple, but we aren't the only club it happens to.

What's blowing me away is the consistency and effort and fitness. Whether it's sustainable or not I have no idea. But even with key players out we aren't too far away. There's only 3 teams at the moment with that consistency.. Melbourne, roosters and us. The rest of the comps form is so up and down it's not funny. Let's hope we keep it up! I'm on the bus!

They both could have viewed the new playing style together and Mary could have shown Millward how well Lafai is going - Champ of Boot Camp. More importantly, they could have discussed a solid plan with options and maybe both would have been on song for 2017.
