Los Angeles will be hosting an IRB 7s series next year. Its a 3 year deal, and has got to be the best thing ever for American rugby.

I think its going to be quite successful, and if they can get some good crowds I'm sure its going to provide USARFU a good argument for sponsorship when they want to setup a pro league.

California is a big playing base for rugby fans and LA is probably a good destination. International city, and I'm sure its going to be a hit with the locals.

I'm pleased to hear the US got the 7's. china has stated it will direct funding to Rugby as soon as it is a Olympic sport. Sevens is the Rugby Olympic sport. Two of the three most populous nations are about to invest heavily in heavens game. Thank God. We may never overtake soccer but we will be as big as our wildest dreams.
