Currently 92* off 63 balls. And the Windies are 281 for 2.

Have a look at this over from kaneria to Lara:

83.6Danish Kaneria to Lara, FOUR, Boundary to end the over! full toss, Lara steps out and puts it away over the mid-wicket fielder

83.5Danish Kaneria to Lara, SIX, Hat-trick of sixes! length ball and Lara steps out yet again and this time straight over the sight-screen, this is even bigger than the previous one, Lara is on a roll and this is really a treat to watch

83.4Danish Kaneria to Lara, SIX, One more and this is high- Lara charges down the track and lofts it away high over the long-on fence, this is a massive hit and Lara is on a high

83.3Danish Kaneria to Lara, SIX, short ball outside leg stump, Lara rocks back and pulls it away high and over mid-wicket fence

83.2Danish Kaneria to Lara, no run

83.1Danish Kaneria to Lara, FOUR, flat on the stumps, Lara steps out and lofts it straight down the ground, one bounce into the fence Long-on and a long-off in place

Almost broke his record for most runs off an over in test cricket. What a legend. Go the Windies!

Yeah, unbelievable. Good to see the Prince of Trinidad has still got it after doomsayers were claiming it was all over for him. He's closing in on 100 in a session. It follows on form 61 and 122 in Lahore. He's certainly in excellent form.

Apparently he's coming out to play some club cricket forr Manly. I'll be there with bells on.

304/4 now. Lara still there 95* but he needs support if the Windies are to build a 150-200 run lead which was on the cards a few minutes ago but maybe not now...

Btw, how is it that Manly might be able to pull that coup off? I remember once when Lara and Jimmy Adams played for a club side in England but they were paid a fair bit of money (Lara got something like 70k for it apparently).

Not sure mate. My Dad said it was in the Manly Times (or whatever it's called) that he was coming,. Apparently there'll be a dinner that Lara will attend, with tickets costing $1000 each. That money will make up his match fee.

Not sure of any details beyond that, just praying it comes to fruition. I saw Lara when he made his 200 at Adelaide and broke AB's record, but I thought that would be my last opportunity. It'd be great to see him one last last time.

Yeah it certainly would be awesome to see him live. I never have unfortunately.

Just brought up his hundred in a session off 77 balls. The 9th fastest in history. Time to kick on and make a double!

Selective walker, but a good batsman anyway. Great to watch in full flight.
C'mon Locky, come up with your own material. Or are you just El Diablo's puppet?

But anyway, this thread is not about walking. Its about another incredible knock in this Test which hopefully will lead to a Windies win to set up a decider.

The drivel that comes out of your mouth locky...

I've seen the great man bat live but he always seems to flounder when I've been lucky enough to be there.

How nice for you to drop by Timbo! I said Lara was good in full flight! He is a selective walker though!

yeah, he struggled when I saw him too - but many do against the might of the NZ attack

could be a good test - Lara

look at all the Kiwis kleeping Lara company on that list... Smith's innings was unbelievable... and Astle's  ... Lara 1st and 3rd though!

Letting him loose on Manly Oval would be scary

Only a few weeks ago Manly scored 430 in 85 overs only to be overhauled 2 down in 75 by Sydney Uni with Eddie Cowan getting 250 from 208 balls.

Cmon Windies!

Lara brings up his 150. His 19th score of 150 or over which beats Don Bradmans record of 18 150+ scores.

Great effort that.

yeah great effort Tommy, he is all class Lara, but lets not forget how many innings he has had compared to the Don

I don't want to knock Lara's effort, but thats hardly a fair comparison

That lump in your pants just got bigger btw

Noone is comparing him to Bradman. There'll never be another player better than Bradman. It's still impressive to break a record that has stood for 50 odd years.

The fact is though, that he has a sh*tload of records and Lara is the one breaking them. The way he's going, he'll break Bradman's record for most series tallies over 500.
