Unequivocal evidence of the job Millward is really doing
Time to rejoice and hail the master recruiter
FMD our club reminds me of the old Moretein add
“When you’re on a good thing stick to it”
Shame they didn’t use the product on the blow flies & cockroaches running the joint.
Latimore 1 more year just laughable.

You mean to say Millward really ISN’T doing a fantastic job?

I’m shocked.

Wow.....just what we all needed to hear as we make our customary slide down the ladder ......we all feel so much better now knowing we are on the right path in 2019..... another outstanding extension for another plodder in our ranks....lets go the whole hog and extend McGregor, Lafai and Aitkens just for good measure......I feel so much better now

Interesting looking back at Latimore thread, some of you were praising him & are now questioning the
re signing.
Hats off to the likes of OT & (myself ) who questions those who could not see his deficiencies & said he needs to be signed for a further year??
You got your wish...FMD

No I stopped short of getting GF tickets 3 weeks ago.
P.S
I think you might of been one of them who got conned. LOL
I got my GF tix ages ago.
As for Latimore, dont worry too much about him re-signing, apparently according to some on here we will have Pagai and Roberts next year so Latimore won't play a huge role.

Here goes.....
At the risk of a deluge of hate, I think this is good news.....assuming he has re-signed for no more than 200k.

From what I hear of his current contract, he is not on a lot and gives great value for money.
He is not a star nor an enforcer but has the size and experience that we need.

Latimore is not the reason for our poor form of late and he is not holding back any of the ISP props. Apart from Lawrie, they just aren't up to it yet if ever. I still have hopes for Kerr.
Without him our bench would have consisted of lower graders not ready for first grade and a few 2nd row size forwards who would not have been able to lock up the middle.

If we have better forwards available it won't hurt to put him in ISP as he doesn't tie up much more of the cap than the other ISP players.
I hope he doesn't see any 1st grade next year cos that will mean that our top line forwards are playing well and our up and comers have developed and taken the step to the top grade.
Otherwise he is a handy backup / bench player when needed.

So,
K Sims comes in for LAM.
Lawrie signed until 2019
Latimore signed until 2019
Host signed until 2020

Currently Sele unsigned, but with Gallon re-signing with the Sharks, I just don't see a place for him there. I wouldn't be surprised if we kept him. Plus Latimore gave him a rap too.

No sign of an extension for Allgood (which is good). No mention of Kerr. No wraps for either of them.

The way I see this is 2019:
1st grade:
Starting props - Vaughan, Graham
Starting edge forwards - Friz and T.Sims
Lock - JDB
Hooker - McInnes
Bench props - K Sims, Lawrie
Bench forward - Leilua
Bench Utility - Robson

ISP:
Starting props - Latimore, Sele
Starting edge forwards - Ford, Host
Lock - H. Lomax
Hooker - Lovodua
Bench props - Kerr, ?
Bench forward - ?

Of course this is speculative and will be determined if and only if McGregor is coach or not.

I hear what your saying. But I would love to know what Graham is thinking when he looks at him. I reckon it would be : look at this big soooft cooont.

What I dont understand, why is latimore the experienced one to help the younger ones through. What about Vaughan, Sims, DeBelin, friz and Graham. Surely young blokes will look to those first. So reasons Millward spruik are BS. Sounds like we missed out on other targets.

I think we should sign him til he’s 50. It’s the least we could do to repay him for the greatest highlight the Dragons have experienced since 2010: punching Captain Bumchin in his cock and balls.
