Rumoured clubs will try and get him with over $1.4mill ayear. Is it possible for a centre to be worth that much? Player salaries seem to be going stupid.

Teaching BJ a lesson would be pretty superfluous. He doesn’t have the brain power to retain information for more than 30 seconds.

The idea of certain positions being inherently worth more is pretty silly. If LM is having a massive influence on games from centre, he'll get paid. Moving to 1 or 6 isn't necessary.

It will be difficult for anyone to outbid the Roosters on him. You would think the lion's share of Cronk's salary will go to Latrell. The cap also rises 200k next year and 100k each of the 2 years after.
Roosters will be able to pay him as high as anyone could want within reason. We will only get beat on massive overs.
Paying a single player 1.4M would make balancing the rest of the cap very difficult.

I expect that Latrell's next contract will be something like what Jason Taumalolo has signed with cowboys. Over $1mill per year for 4 / 5 or even 6 years.

I also think that once he's secured his future, he'll be lazy as all shit and only get involved in the game when he has to.

While he has the talent to be the most dominant player in the game, he doesn't strike me as having the drive to maintain that for a long period of time.

Jamie Soward used to play for the Roosters and he knows Nick Politis personally. So when Jamie Soward speaks of Latrell Mitchell not leaving the Sydney Roosters, people should take heed.
