What a player and what a difference he makes to the team. He is a genuine threat out wide and gives Benji a real option.

I think Lawrence is fast becoming the best centre in the game.

Big, strong, fast and with a smart game - i.e. he can pass it to his winger at the right time and run a good line. That plus his defence is awesome.

I think he has to play SOO next year.

the 2nd most important player in the team other than benji and its no coincidence the tigers have looked like a decent team since he came back as opposed to rounds 4-18. the tigers have no better than average attack and no finishing ability when hes not in the side.

He makes the left side so potent with his pace and strength capitalizing on Bengi's plays, while our right side are too slow to worry the opposition.

Lawrence is awesome. He's built like a brick shithouse, and has good hands and vision. Has a lot of moves worked out with Benji.

Great game by Chrissy. One of our most important players.
Hope his hammy is ok!!!!!!!:(

Wests Tigers centre Chris Lawrence will have an MRI scan over the weekend to determine the extent of a hamstring strain.
Lawrence suffered the injury on his way to setting up the match winning try for Beau Ryan in the thrilling 16-14 victory over St George Illawarra Dragons at the Sydney Football Stadium tonight.
An ultrasound has confirmed the hamstring strain.
"The ultrasound showed that there is no major, major tear which means it is not at the top end scale,' Lawrence said.
"There is something little there so it looks low range. I felt like I could have probably stayed out there but with 4 minutes to go, the trainer took me off when I mentioned it.
"It is pretty sore now."

No matter how good Benji is, if he dosnt have a target to hit than most of his good work goes out the window and of course that is what Lawrence provides. We will struggle again without him

Yeah, he's flawless these days. Had some positional problems in defence when he first came into grade but not anymore.

The most complete and best centre in the game in front of Hodges.

I think so. I didn't feel that way at the start of the season and maybe even prior to his injury but seeing him back and the difference that he makes plus he has played all over every centre since he has been back shows how good he is.

Peeps were stating Ayshford was a chance for origin this year. Ayshford is a good player but Lawrence is a gun.

Don't think we can play without this dude. Probably just need to focus on securing 6th and then firing up come september.

Finals? Need to win one of our last four to guarantee...sound familiar?

I'm not counting any chickens yet especially with Lawry out again...
Should still be an easy asignment if we pick the right replacements, my guess with Shines it will be Mckinnon at 1 and moltzen in the centres,, back to a braindead slow motion backline again .

I wouldn't mind Wade at 1,would prefer Brown though, and not Moltzen at 1 or 4,pick a real centre, one who can defend, and we can hang on until Lote and Rowdy are back.
