just watched the first 2 episodes of this show that started a couple of months back in the USA. its really good! In the same vein as lord of the rings...give it a watch if your into that magic/swords/ creatures/ good vs evil type thing. the effects are friggin awesome. must have had a pretty big budget...

if you are serious then you need to have your head chopped off.

it is a cheap non accurate re-tell of the books and i hate what they did to it.

the inaccuracies turned me off.

read the books, so much better.

Legend of the Seeker is a miniseries made which retells the first book "wizards first rule"

everyone says its nothing like the books...but as a stand alone tv show from someone who has never read it i reckon its good.

point taken, and i suppose the inaccuracies are mostly to do with the role in the series, seeing as it is a remake of JUSt the first book, the inaccuracies shouldnt effect it too much, but still, the books are WAY better.
