Leichhardt Rainbow

Hi. Let me start by saying that I am a dragon fan and generally make it a policy not to post in opposition forums, but I am making an exception.

I live in Lilyfield and my house backs onto Leichhardt oval. I really enjoy going to the games at Leichhardt, usually taking my young boys, and we happily cheer along for the Tigers.

This morning I walked out my backdoor to find a rainbow spanning the Oval. Maybe an omen of things to come for the Tigers in 2011, though if you look closely at the photo there is a hint of a double rainbow and I'm sure it's landing in Kogarah ;-)

This reminds me of the time I moved to the middle of Tassie... The second day on the island I rocked up to Bridgewater and stood on the back steps of Centrelink, where I saw a rainbow spanning from the summit of Mount Wellington, down to the foothills of Claremont... I walked in and told them I'd moved down from Sydney, and they didn't bat an eyelid. I thought I'd have my payments cut for 8 weeks, no questions asked!

Yes, rainbows are a good sign. Bring it on.
