Bradford Bulls Media said:
Bradford Bulls have today announced that Leon Pryce will leave the club at the end of the 2005 Super League season.

Pryce, who will be 24 in October, has rejected an improved contract offer from the Bulls. He made his debut in 1998, the year he joined the club from Queensbury ARLFC and has made 197 appearances for the Bulls, scoring 91 tries.

Bulls Chairman Chris Caisley is disappointed the player has chosen to leave Odsal.

“We are always sorry to loose a player who began his career with us but Leon has made his decision and we will move on. I’d like to thank him for his services to the club and wish him every success in the future.”

Leon Pryce said today:

“The decision I have made will hopefully give me the opportunity to improve my career at another club. It has been a dream come true for me to play for Bradford Bulls and it is something I don’t think I will appreciate until I have retired. I’d like to thank the Bulls supporters who have been fantastic and also the Chairman, Chris Caisley, who has always been there for me when I have had any problems.”

There's rumours of a few blokes leaving Bradford, Jamie Peacock too? I know they didn't start the season well, but you think people would be queuing to be under the national coach, if only for their own career prospects, not leaving that behind.

Pryce to Saints and Peacock to Leeds, thats what the big tip is.

I'm glad to see Pryce get out of the Bulls, Noble seems intent on making Bradford a non-British team anyway. Hopefully he will mature and live up to his potential although I hope they haven't bought him to play no.6.
Peacock along with Lauititi and Ellis give Leeds a backrow to match any in the world plus Sinfield can play in the backrow as well.

I wonder why Noble is so keen for non-Brits at Bradford? There's something to be said for signing the odd impact player, but it's much better for a club's longer-term future to develop and attract players locally, I would've thought?

Will be interesting to see how some teams line-up next year with new buys. Leeds again will have class right through the first 13...
