Plenty to Anastabate about already. The great man made Benji look good by running incisive lines for two dramatic first half tries. The great man showed some mercy and gave his try scoring talents a rest for the evening.

Probably thinking about where to host the Mad Monday lunch.

That play (or lack thereof,) ranks with some of the biggest ineptitude I have witnessed on a football field.

that game still ranks as one of my faves but that deadset shoulda been a Tigers penalty

On topic - ive always been a massiv Anastafan and am really looking forward to seeing him play at Wests, thought he was great on Satdy in the trial and i think Potts can utilise him real effectively

It was one of the few times we've lost a big game that I wasn't at all angry afterwards. I copped a battering on the Tigers forum though when I suggested Heighington was an idiot for not just dropping on the ball. Although we should have got the penalty, you make your own luck and when you show no urgency, you open the door to something like that happening.

That said, the win against Canberra 6 days later was awesome.

That win in Canberra wasnt so sweet though.. Gibbs holding the player down for the penalty and Campese busting his knee out plus Croker havin a shocker. We woulda beat the Roosters fair and square and then met the Dragons in what always should have been the grand final. Our prelim was such a better game of football.

Anasta looked good against the eels - for the money we paid, and now we have a coach who is not senile and will play him in the back row, he could be a fantastic buy for us

Might take more than Braith,we never seem to beat you guys,but I for one think Anasta will prove the knockers wrong.

I like him for his football skills and his personality. He is a clean skin with a sense of humor and answers questions honestly.

All round good guy. Happy to have him in our team.

yeah agree - hopefully add to some sensible decision making on the field this year
