Have a look at Control4. That thing is amazing. You control your house from your mobile/tablet. It's phenomenal.

Well, I'm a massive medicine/science nerd so I love my medical stuff. Some of the research being conducted and developed now is amazing. I'll soon be getting an electric nerve impulse device inserted into my lumbar. I've already got a titanium alloy bar holding my sternum in place to.

Here's something that was on the news this morning. A new phone app that tracks wherever a student is.

The catches:
  • The student must have a smart phone
  • The phone must (obviously) have the app installed
  • The phone must be turned on
Here are the apps downfall
  • Most schools (or at least a lot of them) have banned phones
  • Those that have not banned phone most likely have a rule that they must be turned off during class
  • If the app is installed, it can very well also be deleted if the student doesn't want his/her whereabouts tracked!

The bees knees at the time but now look big and clunky. You could get up to 20 songs onto a cassette tape.

I have a 16GB one of these. I have just over 1000 songs on mine and it's not even half full and is only the size of a cigarette lighter and can set it to play songs in random order.

As an added bonus, you don't need to have (merk)i(n)tunes to put stuff on and take it off, slowing your computer down as you go. Why anyone bothers with apple products as mp3 players is beyond me.

Hate their nazi software so much.

My phone doubles up as an mp3 player (as most phones do nowadays), so there's no point in me carrying an extra mp3 player in the process and buying AA batteries all the time . Best of all... it's not Apple!

Yeah that too.

Well mine does too. But mp3 Player is safer to use on planes and plus I can carry extra batteries for it.

If you still use an MP3 player that looks like that you're doing it wrong
