[FONT=&quot]After Round 5 and only the Chooks and Knights have conceded more points than us so thought I'd share some stats for some players. I selected the 6 & 7 as we know they miss tackles (MT) but are they making enough (TK) or is it the 3 & 4 who are missing plenty? What about Lovett, is he doing his bit, does Halatau deserve his spot?

Halatau deserves his spot. Runs and hits hard. Simona has been the big disappointment to me this season. He is a gun player but it playing like a nuffy. Maybe it's not all his fault but he hasn't been good.

Brooks and Moses have question marks on them.

The only statistic that really matters to me is that 14 out of the 20 tries they have allowed have been scored between the 31-60 minute mark when our bench has been rotated on...

so Buffalo, an interesting stat there, who is coming off?
is it a guy who is making plenty of tackles and being replaced by someone making far less?
is it the usual swap and the same time without any thoughts to state of play and how the guy being replaced is traveling?
is it the dynamics of the team because of those replacements e.g. the guy coming off was protecting Moses or Brooks in the defensive line and the replacement isn't or can't?

Yep. We go to pieces during this phase of the game. Our bench isn't getting the job done is it.

Whatever the reasons are, you don't need to be a genius to look at the team each week and see that the bench is weak, so the stat I mentioned doesn't surprise.

They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results...

Taylor needs to try something different...

Yes analyse all those things you have mentioned... Maybe mix things up a bit with say Sue and/or Grant coming off the bench...

Let Farah and Halatau share the hooker role ( hopefully Robby can even play 80 mins like old man Ennis did last night) and bring in another big man on the bench for Cherry...

Changes need to be made but based on his track record, I'm skeptical Taylor will make them..

I really hope we get Elijah Taylor like the rumours say. Sue only makes about 23 tackles a game. Which is not a big workload for someone that starts at lock. I'd have Taylor at lock and sue coming off the bench in the prop rotation so we don't lose so much when woods/grant have a rest.
