BEWARE Chetwind South ... but Mnemosyne will win it.

Mnemosyne trialled strongly over 900 metres last Friday to finish 4th behind Manton, Paratroopers and Letter of Intent. She was flying home big time and would have smashed them all over 1200m. I cant see any horse in that field over 1200metres, apart from Chetwind South (who is very much up in grade here, but is the next big thing), beating her.

Having said that, Mnemosyne will be something like $1.20 if Hawkes puts her in this race. No way id put my money on something that short priced ;-), especially first up from a spell.

yeah i jumped off carry on cutie and then she won the Champagne

mnemosyne will be very hard to beat. as a 2yo, she always flew from the back of the field late to win. as a 3yo, she was ridden midfield and her devastating sprint just broke every other horse

she'll be winning if she starts

I'm not a big fan of Mnemosyne so will be willing to risk it.

and i've never backed the horse so i'm not talking out of my pocket

oh and i was slightly disappointed with mnemosyne, but it seems she's looking for longer now and will take her a couple of runs to get race fit
