Interestingly this is the second source i've seen today that indicates Hayne won't be in the team.

What would you think if this was the team selected?

Just saw this posted in another thread. From the herald apparently. I think the one that I posted has the better bench. But that's two sources with pretty much the same team.

Agree. Needs to be there. He is the only player NSW have that has proven himself good enough to play at this level in the last few years.

Personally I don't mind Dugan. Hayne is a great player but his positional play at fullback can be pretty lazy.
I'd have Gordon on the wing for Morris, Mullen 5/8 for Soward, and Farah for the grub.
I'd also go Glen Stewart ahead of Lewis...just. I think Stewart has had a great season.

Hayne and Mullen have to be there.

Hayne is the incumbant and hasn't been in such terrible form to warrant his ommission.

Mullen is the most in form halfback in the competetion this season. His kicking game is so far ahead of Pearce. Mullen's kicks never go straight down the throat of the opposition and rarely go dead in goal. He also has a lot more imagination than both Pearce and Soward.

99 per cent of the time Pearce kicks on the last. He doesn't appear to realise you can kick before the last or doing anything other than kick on the last. With the likely Queensland backline NSW would be beyond f**ked.

Don't get me started on Soward. He doesn't stand up for big games he chokes.

f**k this sentimental bullshit and pick the best f**king team for once.

Dugan is a great young player but if Hayne is being overlooked because of form why is Dugan being selected? He hasn't played a full game outside of the Country game and the All Star game...... and only his form in the All Str game was anywhere near where it should have been to warrant pushing out the incumbent.

I can only hope this is paper talk. If hayne isn't selected, the selectors and coach have learned absolutely nothing. Stuart can talk big about loyalty and learning from QLD, but all this talk about Hayne and Watmong missing selection shows that it's all bullshit. f**k them

We need someone to goal kick (who isn't Soward). First to admit he's a grat club player but I am sure he's not Origin material.

On that basis I'd plonk for Ennis, as much as I believe Farah should be there. But the lesser of 2 evils.

I'll feel sorry for Mullen if he plays well tomorrow and still misses out.

Tim Mannah has to be there also I think. I like the inclusion of Galloway too if he makes it, he's definitely deserved it after a few years of top footy now.
