Limited edition black Sharks jersey

I was in footy plus at Miranda fair last thursday night, and they had a little notice up on the counter, advertising the opportunity to preorder a "limited edition 1 game special" jersey.

The jersey seemed to be the same design as the old style jersey (same as the one we wore against the rabbitohs 2 years ago), but in different colours. mostly black, with white and blue for the stripes in the middle, and with a white panel on the back.

Anyone know anything about this?? are we going to wear it in a game some time this season??

I would have asked the kid behind the counter, but he was about 13, and was on the phone sorting out some sort of personal crisis with a girl named Melissa.

I just pre ordered mine. It is exactly the jersey I suggested towards the end of last year! :lol: How about that! It's practically the same as the 35 year jersey with the colours changes so the blue is now black, the black is now white and the white is now blue. It looks fearsome but it would clash with Penrith. We seem to have very similar jersey's these days.

If you want one, I'd get in early. According to the bloke in the shop they are only making 200 of them. Footyplus themselves are only getting 20 of them. I have my XL secured.

The guy didn't know what it was for but said that they would be ready by mid July. So my guess is it will be worn against the dogs.

I won't bother. Call me cynical but it seems an unimaginative way for the marketing people to suck a bit more money out of the fans.

The 35 year jersey, against Souths, at least had some sort of meaning. I can't for the life of me see what the point of this new one is though.

If they want me to spend my hard earned, they'll have to think up something a bit more creative than just changing the jersey for a game.

Do you guys know how or if i can order one online ? as im overseas until July and where i am is not exactly a great country for rugby league

This Jersey will be worn round 21 against the Broncos as a one off.
Not sure of the reason for it apart from bring in a bit more cash.
