Funnily enough. I don't call Mary any of the names that I included in my list. I usually call him Mary or McGreggor, but he does have quite a few other names on this forum.

Mate I am sick of the Mary bashing too. I don't even bother reading the Sack Mary thread. I just thought I would start a thread of all the names that people on this forum call McGreggor.

I don’t read the sack Mary thread anymore.... l just go straight to posting, Sack Mary Now but being the off season, l will refrain from making such comments.

I just don't buy into this whole name calling thing (particularly by nameless and faceless keyboard heroes to make a point). It's pretty childish. I've seen what it can ultimately do. I've stood next to my best mate at his 14 year old daughter's graveside. We both cried cause she took her own life over cyber bullying that included name calling. Maybe an extreme comparison perhaps but very real to some people on the receiving end.

BTW this thread doesn't have to be all negative. If there are any other positive names that posters on this site call McGreggor, then post them. For some reason, I don't think that list will be very long.

Wepnut V calls Mary The Messiah. Maybe Wepnut is the only one who has eyes and the only one who has ears? Maybe he is a foreigner? As someone famous once said that a prophet isn't recognised in his own country, or own land.

Im sure a coach in the NRL can handle a bit of stick from fans. I'd be more worried if he couldn't handle it.

Fans criticising the coach is as old as the game. And name calling is older.

But of course, those who wish to go into bat for our coach are welcomed to do so as well... that is also a fan's prerogative. I'm sure Paul appreciates your support.

That's heartbreaking it really is.

But we need to be careful and realistic.

This is also true. I have found myself laughing at some wildly inappropriate things from stand up comedians.

I tend to give a free pass to be offensive if it is done with a bit of wit and intelligence. But the list of names so far....Mcfooknuckle? Seriously?
