Live finals!

It appears that Fox sports are starting to realise just what a large following the Super league has in Australia. From reading RLR and looking in my guide for this weekend, it looks as though we are getting the first semi-final live early saturday morning, and the 2nd semi on a short delay on Sunday morning. From my correspondance with Fox, I have found that is costs a considerable amount to show these games either live or on a short delay. That is why the regualr games are shown a week late, after the tapes have been sent by courier from the UK.

So congratulations to everyone who has pressured fox sports over the last few years. Gone are the dark days when the challenge cup final was shown on a weeks delay. The Super league has arrived as a popular program on Fox Sports. I can't waite to see a few finals before I've read the result on the net.

Hull v Wakefield

I think Wakey might win, Hull have lot's of injuries to top players, Horne, King and Smith are big losses.
Wakey are under rated.

Wigan v Saints

I fancy Saints in this, Sean Long is back and could prove the difference

Going for the upsets there, Jason?

Saints need more than Long. Can't write them off, but Long played last week, and the result speaks for itself.

I hope Wakefield get a win, but I wouldn't put money down on it.

Wakey v Hull

I think Wakfield might win this one, Hull have looked poor of late. No King, Horne aswell for Hull.

Wigan v Saints

I dont know about this one. Saints are going to field a very good side. I see Scully, Hooper, Cunningham are back from "Injury" ;-) But we have Scully, Carney back and look  we have props....who are....fit....yes you heard me match Fit.

We will just have wait and see i guess

And Wigan have just ended a drama-filled St helens season, 18-12. Too many players unavailable in second half of season for saints, and in the end their form and confidence suffered.

Next weekend, Leeds v Bradford (Fri night) and Wigan v Wakefield (Sat).

Oops.
