Well i usually do a couple of live updates a week for rleague.com and i don't mind coming into the forum chat room and keeping everyone up to date then.
It could be very successful, there are alot of big websites that do the updates but its always good to have them from a familiar name and have a bit of chat at the same time.

Cheers

Its a great ideas & I really appreciate the peeples who take the time out to do the updates! On a Sunday I am to impatient to wait for the Channel 9 telecast & just want to know how many games I got right! (Usually go to RLeague for score updates though).
This Friday I will be waiting til 9pm to see the delayed telecast of my beloved Roosters against The Sharks. I hope I don't get tempted to sneak a look at the score though prior to the game!

I don't mind drawing up a roster once I have a full list of volunteers. I would also like to know what the best format is by majority vote. My preference is for the chat room as it is real time and a lot quicker to access.

I don't normally like to rant and rave, but this is another area that the NRL is lacking. The NRL website is pathetic compared to the AFL site which is very informative and gives up to date information.

As an offshore bookmaker, I have been frustrated numerous times by the lack of internet coverage of Rugby league. Games kick off and we don't know if they have kicked off or not. rleague.com, league-australia.com.au and nrl.com.au supposedly have live scores but only when they feel like it. Whereas rleague.com and league-australia.com don't have an obligation to give live scores, the NRL.com.au websiteis a disgrace to the game they supposedly represent. Does anyone know who looks after all that with the NRL website? They don't have any news on who is in the starting lineup (I mean they do change thoughout the week with suspensions and injuries), they just have the squads which were named initially, whereas the AFL site has the new changes straight away. Anyway, it is just a gripe I have with the NRL.
