Thats true mate but name me one of the top 20/20 spinners that is a great test spinner??? Most of them don’t even play test cricket.

it destroys their action tho, they start bowling flatter and faster so they cant get hit and they lose that flight that is so important when they are trying to nag away at a certain line on the pitch in test cricket

look at Zampa, just about bowls medium pace, and look at Lyon, totally crap in T20s yet our best test bowler atm all because of totally different flights

Playing BBL doesn't seem to have done Swepson any favours when it comes to shield cricket.
Hopefully Pope can rise above that.
