To me, Lockyer is Bronco's through and through... he's got too much to lose. To me, if he left, it says that he is scared of Jonathan Thurston and knows he is now 2nd string

Couldnt really see Lockyer leaving Brisbane, BUT, if he was then Cats would be a choice I think he would like. I couldnt see him in the NRL against the Broncos, and the cold Northern Winter - well he is from Brisbane, about as close to freezing we get up this way is at one of Lockyers Schmunky Ice Bars.

Call me an optomist, but if Lockyer is a through and through Bronco, he might see that it would be in the best long term intrest of his club for him to step aside at the top, to free up a spot for an up and comming star. Would free up a lot of cash for the club under the salery cap, and avoid the youngsters looking to play elsewhere. Then Lockyer could have an injury, and where would they be....

I like to see stars go out like that. With the blessings and best wishes of their club, mates, and fans. Make room for the next generation's star.

That said, he would be an excellent fit for the Catalans, and would help take them to the next level. Would be ideal.
