Seriously you guys, St George didn't give Parramatta a chance tonight because of there best first half performance of the year. They were fantastic and I told you guys not to underestimate them as they still have a very good side.
People say they have nothing to play for? lol they did to avoid the wooden spoon, and the fact that maybe they are trying to make up for some lost time....it's far easier to perform when the pressure isn't on, Saints showed that tonight.
Our performance? average yes, but i have to say yet again our defense was magnificant, its that Saints defense was even better!
I'll admit i almost blew up a few times, the shocking forward pass calls were pathetic, and the flops were very annoying and no one was pinned, got very annoying in the second half coming out of our own half. The ref didn't do us any favours tonight, yes we won the penalty count, but i would've given them all back for the forward passes and strip on B Smith, they were very costly.
I thought Hayne again was very poor. Is it me? or when the ball is about to roll dead or would he picks it up? 3 times tonight he could've let it go over the line, no he picks it up and we struggle to get over the 30 metre lin.
Ben Smith, hmmm oh thats right the best defensive centre in the game:lol: His attack tonight reminded me of a MIG 21 trying to intercept an F/15 lol
Finch? seriously Wagon looks more threatning.
Fui, has been worked out and i thought Cordoba was far more impressive.
Feleti, this guy was our best player, looked bloody dangerous all night, but for some reason after the try he scored..not long after was taken off.
Grothe, he played ok, give him a break.
Tim Smith, Disapointing, but had very limited chanced in the first half, and in the second had outside men who weren't positioning themselves well, hence why he was taken out a couple of times.
Cayless, only time he looks dangerous is when he backs up another good forward run and looks to offload, but apart from that put the kettle on he wont do anything.
Plenty of positives, just remember the possesion they had. Hayne has to go to the centre with Reddy to Fullback or someone else capable.
