Just wondering as an Aus fan of London if they have any chance of making the 6???

Have they just fallen in a heap or is a temporary form slump???

From what I see over here, there's a whole bunch of teams that have hot and cold form, and it's very hard to predict week to week.

Leeds, Saints and Hull seem to get pretty consistent results, and then you've got seven teams all with an equal shot at the remaining three spots. (Sorry Widnes and Leigh fans, I haven't included you in those contenders at this stage.)

General wisdom is London perform well at home (when other teams have to travel further than usual), but mostly poor away (when they have to travel). But it a team can win half their matches, they should manage to get sixth? Will be interesting to see if there's a similar home and away effect when the French team comes in next year.

Most sides will fancy beating at then at home. As Bartman points out, away is a different matter.

I don't know if they are in a slump just because they lost at Leigh, got taken apart by Leeds and Saints will probably thrash them this weekend. The time to worry will be if they start losing at home to teams outside the so-called Big Four.

I think London have a great chance of making the 6.

I also disagree with the post above, I think London will hammer St Helens. If they play well it could be 50 or 60 in their favour. What you have to remember about London is that they choose their away games. Last weekend they played Leeds and went in half hearted, as they were focused entirely on the more winnable home game the week after. I'm not suggesting they did this against Leigh, they just got caught out.

London are one of the 3 or 4 sides that can take 6th place, inconsistent at the moment but I think they'll get over that before too long.

London-Saints should be a cracker tomorrow, Saints are missing Sculthorpe, Long and Lyon so it's going to be tough but I think we'll get there.
