hey fellas,
long time no talk! i have been very busy with school etc...
anywayss i just thought id drop a line and say! what the hell is going on?

last night i was at the footy with my mate and dad and i really could tell we are missing a composed half-back...just with the small things, like 5 tackle optionss etc..

i really think hagan needs to have a good long think with the tim smith matter an maybe helping him to get back on board, or pick someone other than mateo who will be along side brett finch in the halves...

anywayss, hope everyone is happy and healthy!
and im sure our boys will pick up there act soon!

cheers!
lewiscook!

Dudes, I'm a big Timmy fan as well....but we just have to face the fact that for now at least we have to make do with what we have. Tim's gone, and more than likely won't be back any time soon...

Yeh, this is just silly talk.

I'd be more inclined to throw Mortimer into half back and see if he has what it takes.
The Roosters did it to Pearce.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get a go....the problem is I'm not totally convinced he's a halfback...

Yeah but what about the damage it could do :sarcasm:

Pearce was dropped last year when he was out of form and brought up when in form, it has really stuffed him around hasn't it?

People got there wish, i still cannot believe we gve him a 3 year deal when perhaps a 1 year and 1 year option in our favour may have been done, disgraceful stuff and reicks of Fitzy's incompetence.

Unless you are talking about former Penrith and Manly winger Matt Rieck, I assume you are referrring to something that smells...and that word is 'reeks'. Try not to use big 'grown up words' if you don't understand what they mean...especially if you are calling someone 'incompetent'.

whilst you spent all day whinging about Finch signing I'd be more than interested to know who you'd have there instead.

its true ... there is little/no alternative ..... altho having said that, the way we are going with what we have I kinda wish we'd just saved the money

i dunno - i don't hate finchy - i respect alot of his qualities (if he was a hooker) ..... maybe I'll just sit on the fence - maybe be an apologist and aspire to having someone make threads about me

No one, we have no options, that's why i'm whinging.

the dogs, saints and about 3 or 4 English clubs wanted Finch..and the dogs ended up signing Kimmorely for a reported 250K..

now there's a sure sign that there's f**k all out there...

what about Barrett?

TBH i'd rather Kimmorely anyday over Finch, atleast he has a sharp kicking game whilst being every bit a competitor.

so any idea what we paid for finch ... cos i know kimmorley is getting on but he's still reasonably effective - did we pay over $250K for finch?

I don't know exactly what he's on now but apparently the money is similar to that.

the problem with Barret is that we're competing with clubs who are willing to fork out big for him and it appears we don't have that sort of money availiable atm.

tbh i'd still prefer finch to Kimmorely.
