Thanks, Moffo.
A Penrith Panther supporting mate of mine (there's a few of them live round the Shire), bet on the Sharks to win the Spoon. Reckons we're 2nd. favourite to Souths at about $4. I told the mongrel he shoulda just given the money to me.
Me? I'll still be having a few bucks on the Sharkies to win the bloody comp. Do every year. Why change? I reckon our young blokes will be `one year better'. Add our imports to that and it's worth a flutter IMO.

Nothing like kicking a dog when it is down eh. At this time of the year being summer, it is a joy to around the shire, the cool breezes, the surf the beach. You have to feel for Penrith.

Speaking of Penrith, I see that they are still celebrating their Grand Final win up there with street parades etc. I just have a feeling that they have bad dose of Grand Final hangover for 2004, and finish well off the pace. Anyway, Manly and Souths should be the teams fighting it out for the spoon.

Yeah, Sully. When Penrith aren't travelling well I kept my trap shut. When they win the comp and the Sharks fail these bustards give it to me. I don't dislike the Panthers, but I'm darned sure the Sharks will be respectable this season, maybe even give it a shake. To back the Sharks for the spoon like this bloke did was a bloody insult.
