After an unbelievable 2022 as part of the history making @ipswichshs rugby league team winning the national championships, both Loko and Joven boarded a plane this morning to move to Sydney to join the Dragons.
Wishing you all the best with the Dragons. We can’t wait to see you both playing in the Red V next year. We are all so proud of you both.

Back in 2019:

Murgon State High School student Joven Gyemore ran the under 15 boys 100m race in an impressive 11.55 seconds, beating the long-standing record of 11.70sec which was set in 1978.

Now we hope we have the right staff in place to bring these young kids along BUT more importantly look after them as they are young and making a pretty big move homesickness could be a problem , But welcome to the club guys

Thank god, getting players to backflip on release requests is the highlight of this off season so far.

As a Raiders fan this happens to every club. There were a few from our last Flegg side that just went to the Bulldogs.

It is a ridiculous article

The Dogs signed a bunch of top junior players from different clubs on train and trial contracts of between 1k to 2k on top of whatever contract they signed.

That equated to an extra 14k to 28k based on a 14 week pre-season.- They train with the NRL squad

The Roosters and Sharks also lost 3 of their best Flegg players each to the Dogs as well

Not sure if such payments are included in the cap or part of the 2nd tier/extended bench contract system
