Balmain look like jagging a top 8 spot in both lower grades...unfortunately it doesnt look good for the maggies.

Fingers crossed they both make it and least we have some teams to cheer in September.

Cheers.

The top 7 in Prems should just about be right. If we can find anything even remotely resembling consistency we'll grab 8th.

In Flegg it's rediculous that we're still a fair shot at the eight. Only two points out. There is a vast gulf between the top four and the rest. Souths were ORDINARY on Sunday and we should have towelled them, but without Borgy they could score to save emselves. If we can get Illawarra on Friday we're right in it. Crazy and totally undeserved really.

Balmain have been really inconsistant over the last month and a half and are lucky they made a great start to the season cuz theyre not playing like a title contender at the moment.

Flegg on the other hand seems to be getting better and better. They must be a real shot of taking the title.Although the loss of Pangai will hurt.

balmain are playing inconsistently because their side changes pretty dramatically each week. We have also been playing without brian carney, jeff lima, rob simpkins, daniel harris, Bronson harrison, Simon Greally and chris heignington. I think the side is still a strong one, but I don't think a premiership is realistic.
