I think this was answered somewhere else but what are the facilities like there?

My memory of Parker Street was a field. No stands. I don't even remember it having a toilet.

It has been upgraded since. A decent little park for that standard. Even sell beers now although it was strange to have kids playing games on the other field

I was at the game yesterday and the ground has changed heaps from when I was there last 10 years ago when my boys played cricket there. The main ground is all fenced off, they have metal seating that steps up behind sort of like a mini stand and the playing surface was in excellent condition.

Good stuff. And beers are always welcome.

Haven't been there in a very long time just driven past. Will have a visit sometime this year.

The NSW Cup were disappointing, the outcome could have been different if Jesse McLean hadn’t butchered a try. They scored twice in quick succession after that and basically game over. No excuses the Jets deserved there win.

As has been pointed out Thomas Jenkins had a decent game and Kepaoa on the wing had a strong game. Our two starting front rowers were outplayed by former Panther Brad Fearnley who came of the bench but he was terrific. Billy Magoulias embarrassed some of our forwards despite looking a stone overweight.

In respect of Blaize Talagi it was a rather underwhelming debut, a couple of mistakes and I can’t recall any kicks in general play. Jack Cole looks like he will continue at 6 at least for the immediate future.

The Flegg had a good win with the new recruit Harry Armstrong picking up a double following thru on grubber kicks into in goal. The highlight for him though was a line break from inside our twenty, ran 70 metres and we scored. The other new recruit from the West Tigers had a decent game as well, bigger than I expected given it was suggested by Tigers fans when we recruited him he was too small. Kicked 5/5 three from the sideline.
