just noticed that raider has already given up on his 1st round pick.

looks like i lucked out in the #5 slot in getting lacy. the season will show if i really got lucky.

the real winner was ab who somehow turned montee ball into lesean mccoy. how does this guy do it?

anyway, should be a good season. if lacy pans out for me i might be able to contend.

It was the weakest draft in the history of fantasy football surely, I wouldn't be surprised if lots of people who were drafted early find themselves on the bench a lot.

The Shineys are looking to rebound from the upset loss in the superbowl to finally claim ourselves a LU Dynasty League crown. Our running back depth is a real issue, whilst our receivers are as strong as ever.

It's called superior negotiation skills Kurt ;)

I like my chances this year, nice stable of RBs and WRs

I needed a good backup QB, and hopefully I can pick up the missing RB I need next year to give me a real chance of winning the lot. Still who knows, I may be able to pick up a decent RB on the waiver wire during the season to put me in the end of season race.

EDIT: Added in the full trade

El Cunado gets
Montee Ball RB DEN from Hot Beef Injection
Colin Kaepernick QB SF from Hot Beef Injection
Hot Beef Injection gets
San Francisco 49ers TM SF from El Cunado
LeSean McCoy RB PHI from El Cunado

I am hopeful of building off my first winning season since taking the team over
my first year i went 1-13, then i got to 6-8, last year i went 7-6-1, this year i think im a genuine 8-9 win team and maybe give it a good shake with some luck

I think ive done a good job of rebuilding this team from absolute scum suckers they were 4 years ago

Can we remove RB's from the scoring?

I might be a concern to someone if we do that.

Kurt, think about it.

So I open the season against the Division favourites, up against SoutherSkins

Feeling pretty confident about this one, always tough when your opponent has Drew Brees as he's always capable of putting up huge scores, but I think my team is better across the board with the exception of Brees and Olsen.

I think my RB trio of McCoy, Forte and Wilson should carry me to victory

Nice first up win for me, big score coming and that's with me leaving plenty of points on the bench

Last minute decision to go with Eli over RG3 paid off!
Cruz bringing fat stacks. Ahead by 27 with Morris, Matthews and Henery against Garcon

Chalking this up for a win! Good start

Got smoked....taking a chance on keeping my FA's isn't working out. Hopefully Lloyd lands in SF soon!

Yep. Franklin is a bum. News out of the packers camp are that he's lucky to be on the roster, picked up Kenjon Barner instead. Think he's the better long term prospect

I have no RB's at all, so I will take anyone with an outside shot of getting some carries.

Speaking of which: Welker is available for an RB who is listed as #1 on the Depth Chart.

Let me know if interested.

:lol::lol:

I somehow have him back on my roster, and was thinking about offering a trade up to see if I could turn his useless arse into trade gold twice in two years.

The sad thing is, I'm also just as weak at RB. Man, this is a sad, sad year for fantasy RB's...

if i had lost this matchup i would have been so upset. seeing james stark run wild against the skins after lacy got knocked out with his first touch made me wonder what lacy would have done against them. luckily arod and jimmy graham carried the team to victory.

Much more like it from the Shineys this week, huge games from my Bryant/Megatron combination. Just gotta find another RB to plug that gap and wait for Gronk to return and we'll be a player again this year...

I think I'm this years league bitch. Everybody on my team keeps ending up dead. I'm down 6 or 7 players, with two more as almost dead. This is seriously ridiculous.

I don't know about that. My team is all over the place, and I have no reliable RB's to plug in. Though hopefully I can pick up enough off the waiver wire to be a contender next season.
