In my mind this is one poll not even required. Brandy by a million miles. In saying that we had a pretty golden period with quality in the number 7. Brandy, Freeman & Gower covered the best part of 20 years. Before & after that not so much, although Wallace isnt far behind Freeman.

I want Brandy as fullback, has that been voted yet? But yeah only real options(atleast of my time) are Brandy, Gower, Freeman, Wallace and throw in Walsh for a laugh.

Yeah, fullback is done. I forgot to add a time limit on the poll, so its still open. Wesser is ahead by a mile though.

Brandy easy. Gower is the most talented 9 play for our club, wonder how many more rep jerseys he would of got if he played hooker his whole career and stayed in aus playing league

Unless we have some youngsters on here that never saw Brandy play, I can't imagine a single vote going to anyone else.

I had the privilege of watching Brandy play and he was a joy to watch. The sad thing is we never really saw the best of him because of what happened with his brother. He was just starting to get to the next level of genius when Ben died and he was never the same again.

Exactly right. Although he captained a premiership side, played origin and went on two Kangaroo tours, I still think we didn't see the best of him due to his brothers death.

That is a shame Pugzley. Brandy was a special player. Family tragedy took away what would have been the best years in his career.

Take nothing away from Gower who in my opinion would have played hooker for Australia for a decade had he not told pulled out his old fella out at the Coogee hotel and said to the nearest woman "Pretend you're a watchmaker and put a pair of hands on this".
