The top ten list is here.

Equal 10th worst movie was a tie between 6 movies.

*"Staying Alive" = Slyvester Stallone directed this absolute shocker of a sequel to "Saturday Night Fever". He must have thought "Yo, make Johnny dance in more scenes and make more money". One of the most boring movies I've ever seen. Surely, Travolta did not read the script before he signed on.

*Freddy Got Fingered: I've not seen this movie but I know of a good mate who rates it as the worst movie he has ever seen and another mate of mine walked out of the cinema. Im not planning to see it anytime soon.

*An Inconvenient Truth : I've got no knowledge about this one whatsoever.

*Star Wars: Phantom Menace: If this was the one with Jar Jar Binks, than it did suck a big one.

*A Good Year: No knowledge on this one.

*Lost things: No idea.

*Meet the Spartans: I did not see this one. In saying that, you would not need a degree in brain surgery to work out that the movie would be a waste of money in time. If you wasted your money or time, you deserved it.

I voted this as my Number One worst movie. It is a mockumentary made in 2006 with Al Gore sprouting bullshit doom and gloom about global warming.

Watch at your own peril.

Mockingjay gets my vote. Watched it in Times Square, fell asleep it was so boring, it was snowing outside and as a result of my nap, I left my umbrella in the cinema and it was gone by the time I got back to look for it...

9th place = Alien v Predator

For some unknown reason, my expectations for this movie were extremely high before it came out. To this day, this is the ONLY movie I have ever seen on opening day. I even took the 11am session.
My oh my, what a steaming pile of shit this movie truly is. Even though the movie had action scenes throughout, I was strangely very bored by the movie. I hung around foolishly hoping that it would get better. It got a hell of a lot worse...and stupid.
Needless to say, I have not seen the sequel. From all reports, I've heard that it is actually worse.

In relation to the audience, the film's motto is spot on.

On it's own AvP isn't the worst movie in the world, you could look at it as a B grade alien/slasher flick. The problem is that it tries to carry two incredible franchises and of course fails miserably at that.

What made Alien/Aliens/Predator/Predator 2 really good was giving us human characters to care about, learning more about the actual alien/predator creatures and an air of suspense and mystery. AvP didn't do any of that, so much of it was just totally forgettable.

CATWOMAN

To me, the only surprise about this movie is that it is not higher up the list. I look at Halle Berry as the female version of Nicholas Cage. Halle was in some fairly okay movies before she won her oscar. Once she won the Oscar, she has appeared in average to crap movies ever since. Im pretty sure "Catwoman" was released shortly after she won her oscar for "Monsters Ball".

They could have done wonders connecting these 2 films together, but what we got was crap, The sequel was even worse.

Spot on....the fact that it does carry two franchises should carry a hell of a lot of responsibility with it...shocking movie.

8th place - XXX

I am proud to admit that the only Vin Diesel movie that I've ever seen is Pitch Black. I have rented out the first "Fast and the Furious" movie and will watch it this week. He does not strike me as an interesting actor at all.

I know nothing about it and don't want to learn about it either.

I actually went to the movies to watch this, its shockingly bad.

It wasn't really Diesel's fault though, there was nothing anybody could do with this crap. I don't mind him generally, does an ok job with good scripts / characters to carry him e.g. Pitch Black, Boiler Room, the first F&F

Number 6 : Australia

Baz Lurhmann is a very unusual director who takes risks with his films. In general, Im not attracted to his films but he can surprise with a good one from time to time.
The majority of his fans as well as the rest of the planet could not quite grasp onto and love "Australia". This movie had huge expectations in this country and casted some of the finest stars in Australian cinema history in Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, David Gulipill, Bryan Brown, Bruce Spence etc. Everything pointed towards a hit.....except for the biggest shit of a scrip seen in a big budget movie in Australian history.
Quite simply, the movie was terrible and an absolute pain to sit through. The Australian audience deserved so much better considering the great meaningful movies made over our history.
