So "mercurial "Dylan Brown is weighing up a serious offer from the Knights @ 1.4 m per year 10 year deal and some mystery club dangling 1.3 also for 10 years, and hot / cold Ponga is on 1.55 m / year. Yet we've been mocked for paying Luai 1.2?????. As the saying goes....ya can't make this shit up
Based on the massive overs for an under delivering & over rated Brown what the fk is Isaac Moses going to b seeking for Galvin

Be a fair chance if Brown moves on that Parra will get Galvin, I know it’s a business and all but I grew up in the same neighbourhood as Galvin’s dad and that family were mad Parra fans, they had a Parramatta flag in the front window of their house😂

I don’t know, parra told him to look elsewhere, that’s a pretty good incentive to never go back there.
Besides, he has a pretty good team around him with a few of his mates and our money is as good as anyone else.

The Galvin family had a good reason to support Parra way back

There's a bit of mail about that if Brown goes, they're looking at Fletcher Sharpe as a replacement. This would be a great deal for Parra, as he's going to be twice the player at half (or less) the price

Galvin will probably be the first with a 2mil price tag. As for Brown...I doubt anything Specsavers have on the shelf will help me see what I'm missing.
Ha ha. Galvin has a long way to go yet.
The opposition will target him more this year and I see him moving closer to the ruck on occasions so get those shoulders solid Lachlan.

Yep. Provided he goes injury free it's time to beat the second year syndrome. Huge year for him and hopefully he kills it.

I'm a little worried how many wraps are being put on him by the likes of Gould etc saying he's the best young player since fittler. I remember this happening to one of our halves some 13 years ago. Look how that turned out, but here's to hoping

Well, if you're good enough, you're good enough.
I think he is and he will have Luai there beside him plus the coach who was in the same boat.
But agree, the second year curse can be a testing time.

I’ve never thought the hype matched the player. Sure Galvin can be good, but can he be good enough to win games for us when there’s a 2 point deficit with 2 to play , consistently. Can he navigate that level of pressure, consistently ...Luai or no Luai. He may need to experience the ugly art of depression and self doubt, then overcome that to become a great player or, he might be straight out of the blocks?? Let’s hope it’s the latter. But he’s so early on in his apprenticeship, prob expect either.

I don’t think he’ll have any dramas, the thing about Lachlan is that he isn’t too flash, he has a solid skill set, he’ll do the same thing each week. The boys that have the second year blues are the showy ones, one trick ponies, this kids a proper footballer he’ll just play footy nothing too flash just nail the fundamentals and play what’s in front of him.

The pressure from staying off the bottom to making the 8 for the first time in a long time is slightly different. If you can’t handle that kind of pressure, all your precision level skills will disappear when they are needed most ..no one is exempt, except those that eat pressure for breakfast or can learn how to..
I’m sure Galvin will be fine too. But…yea
