You are right - then Lui was on the left too?

Either way Ellis and Lui need to be paired together.

I think he must have been - I remember he missed an assignment for at least two of the Canberra tries (though to be fair our whole left side couldn't make a tackle at all that night).

WTF? Lui was first choice halfback last year. He was injured in the game Moltzen did his knee.

That's how I remember it too. It was also clear that Sheens didn't view Moltzen as a halfback in 2009. After the 8 from 8 games that Moltzen supporters rave about, Shannon Gallant broke his leg and rather than bring in another fullback or move a winger to the back, Sheens promoted Lui to halfback and pushed Moltzen back to fullback.

This bloke is not a first grade player.Until Sheen's realises this the Tigers will not reach their potential. He's a liability to your team.

Thing is he can tackle, I remember one early in Mon game he hammered someone, really surprised me and thats why I recall it.....I thik whoever it was though ran straight at him.
Needs to do it more often
He can, but he looks scared now. If a player runs at him, his first instict is to step to the side and try and grab hold of the player from the side.

Will never work and will never be effective. He should caught tackling lessons from Fulton, go low, take the legs, more effective than what he's doing now.

You cannot be scared to defend in Rugby League, at any level, you will be singled out by the opposition.

The longer it goes on, the worse his form will get because he'll just keep getting lower and lower on confidence.

Oh yeh, I remember that...when was that? Over 12 months ago I think?
You're right, but only because he didn't play last year.

TBH I wouldn't have either of them on current form, but if push turned to shove, I think Moltzen is shading him on improving each game.

Lui has had three poor games on the trot - no doubt. But I just feel he is 100 more times dangerous than Moltzen is with the ball.

I'm a Lui and Moltzen fan. Moltzen played very well and all Tigers fans should be excited he is getting back to his best. His running game is very exciting to watch and thankfully the Tigers value him.

Lui's defence is atrocious and it is up to the coach as to whether he is replaced by Miller.

Still not seeing the Lui Love sorry.. loopy slow pases , a trillian miss tackles....hardly takes on the line..thats all i see. The pass he threw for the try was good but hardly anything that wouldnt be expected from a first grade player.

Lui went off when it was 12-4. But don't let facts get in the way.

Also Moltzen hardly touched the ball when Lui went off the field, he did absolutely NOTHING. If anyone thinks that he had anything to do with us winning that game they are on drugs.

Well... I'm sure I did see Moltzen tackle someone at one stage... Actually I saw Lui make that good tackle that one time, too.

I think they both looked pretty good out there, all things considered... Defensive issues aside - I'm not real sure what everyone is complaining about.

Moltzen is a silky runner and looks like he is getting some of his attacking spark back.

Lui seems to start well but just can't see out the full 80. Why we're not playing Miller on the bench and playing a game of two halves is anyone's guess.
