Hello everybody,

Luke O'Donnell has retired :( A great player. A surviving Balmain Tiger, helped the Cowboys to become a not-a-shit team, then guided the Roosters to a premiership with some strong performances when it mattered.

A big loss for rugby league :(

This is a sad day for mankind in general. Loved him as a cowboy and was glad to see him win a premiership even if it wasn't with us.

Thanks LOD, you mad merkin

Was a gun for us. Whilst here he was a automatic selection for Australia and NSW.

Loved his aggression, although after the infamous wishbone tackle he sort of lost his head a bit.

When we were kids we used to play together as our parents were besties. I can still remember him biting me and taking a big chunk out of my arm for no real reason. We couldn't have been more than 10.

Hi Moga!

BTW, I'm not bunniesman.

LOD was vital in the grand final. He was immense in the first half and got us back in the game. So I'm allowed to exaggerate slightly his importance. But then again, he was super incredible in the qualifying final against the Sea Eagles. So yeah, I'm justified in my exaggeration

After losing the plot slightly at the end of his days in the saddle he needed one last attempt at redemption before he faced the archive registrar. It was as close to a SBW rendition of 'shove that up your arse' he could've achieved and far better than anyone expected . . . great finish
