Reliable in what way, Raider? He was a reliable fullback. Didn't have the flair of Mini but reliable was something he was. Watch the 2000 GF and tell me he's not reliable. If it wasn't for him, we would have been completely humiliated. Reliable re injuries? Is that what you were meaning?

Mate, it's unlikely from the above opinion that you've watched the '00 or '02 final.

Rhys is the dogs nuts when it comes to attack but For those few seasons Phillips was one of the best positional & defensive custodians in the game not to mention demonstrating Sattler'esque toughness in playing through pain.

He was always a tad overrated. I compare him to someone like Andrew Leeds that played for Wests and panthers in the 90's. Solid, but had nothing.

You're getting me confused, BP - I think I need a sniffer-dog to track down the threads.

The Roosters would have to be crazy to offer him a fat paycheck, I'd rather see him on a minimal sign-on fee and an incentive-based contract. That way they're not paying money for a player who's on the sideline.
