Matt's actually scheduled to appear for Ring of Honour, who are the world's #3 promotion (behind NWA and WWE, obviously).

According to itnernet sources the release was asked for by Reigns as he felt he wasn't being used to his full potential since he isn't the youngest of wrestlers. He apparently wants to spend more time with his real estate.

Well that's what happens when they buy out their competition. You get all these performers on the roster and you end up having to split them up and let a heap go.
