Maddenmaniacs,
I have found some QUALITY sliders to get the best from Madden gaming. These do require the skills of an experienced Madden player where realistic stats can be obtained. It has taken 3-4 months, a guy from another NFL Forum finally completed this with alot of testing from Madden addicts like myself. Hope you enjoy them:
***JAY JACKSON'S FINAL ALL-MADDEN SLIDERS 2005***
IMPORTANT NOTE: THESE SLIDERS ARE FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS! Difficulty tweaks are possible from the base of the set,
but at default these should be considered fairly advanced sliders.

12 Minute Accelerated Quarters - All Madden
All Assists ON (Except Auto-Avoid)
All Penalties MAXED
Sub In/Out Set at 83%/90% (You will see subs, mainly at skill positions)
All sliders marked HUMAN/CPU and numbers should be clicks from the 0 position!
QB Accuracy: 8/5
Pass Blocking: 11/10
WR Catching: 12/10
RB Ability: 8/17
Run Blocking: 10/19
Awareness: 20/7
Knockdowns: 20/0
Interceptions: 8/8
Break Block: 3/5
Tackling: 11/6
FG Length: 12/8
FG Accuracy: 2/0
Punt Length: 9/18
Punt Accuracy: 10/10
Kickoff Length: 11/12

This will be my absolute, no questions asked FINAL set of sliders for All-Madden level, 2005. The purpose of this new thread is for folks to either share franchise reports garnered with these sliders - or with those who may need a tweak or two to get the game either a little harder, or a little easier for them. The stats obtained with these sliders are nearly a perfect match with NFL Averages, while maintaining the balance needed to have a realistic shot of matching the simulation engine in 2005 at default settings.
All of these sliders were tested and difficulty tweaked numerous times over 3 separate franchises, all in their 3rd year. In the 3rd year after progression has taken hold over the initial roster ratings - these sliders still do a remarkable job at these levels with maintaining statistical accuracy.
People say it couldn't be done. It is.
MAIN SLIDER DIFFICULTY TWEAKS:
Computer RB TOO GOOD? Lower CPU RBA to 16 - NOT GOOD ENOUGH? 19
CPU QB NOT GOOD? CPU QBACC - 6or7 - *DO NOT SET LOWER THAN 5*
HUMAN RB TOO GOOD? CPU Tackling 7.
Enjoy in moderation.
Edit: Sliders were tweaked adding 1 point to HUM Pass Blocking, as with the slightly higher tackling setting the ends just get a tad too much pressure.
