Madden 16

Hey guys,

Anyone else picking this up? What are you looking forward to this year? I know the gameplay generally remains the same, besides the odd fix here and there, but it is the only NFL game on the market.

Over the past few years I have found myself hitting up Ultimate Team quite a bit.

If enough interest, anyone keen on doing LU knockout competition or something?

I'm usually a offline franchise player and take control of one player or the coach.

I've played a bit of UT on FIFA but never really bothered on Madden but I'll be giving it a go this year.

Out on Thursday. Pretty sure the initial release will feature the pre-season squads, then they update as cuts are made.

I know the feeling I "Work from home" on a monday to watch NFL and play video games. It's the only day I get with a 6 year old and a 3 month old.

TBH i was looking for a whole lot of "yeah once the kids are older you'll be fine, i play shit loads of madden and my kids are like 2 and 4!"

Hahaha I usually do my gaming at night once daughter and missus have gone to sleep. Even then I can only get an hour or so before I crash myself

Yeah... I know that feeling..

The only time I get to play Madden these days are when I go over to my little brothers place... And he just brutalises me.

Yeah i was doing plenty of gaming at night when the boy was in bed... but then i went and got the wife pregnant again, so i had to start doing more cooking, cleaning etc around the house.

Im my own worst enemy. I m usually in bed by 9:30pm these days, i got a couple of late nights coming up for fantasy drafts...:lol:

I have had it since Tuesday, gotta admit the new passing and catching is very difficult initially but it does slowly feel better. Thankfully the AI will automatically select the best option in the situation. I would sometimes press the wrong catch button, only to look like the biggest dumb shit lol.

Played online in a few games. My last game, I was down 21-0 going into the QTR-3. Made a decent comeback and with 12 seconds on the clock my 71 rated QB in MUT just shat himself and missed two open throws and we lost 21-17

In the games I have played, it is definately an upgrade on M15, I will check out the Connected Franchise mode later.

Not.

Not yet anyways. There was a day 1 update, followed by anothe roster update but nothing in game with Hayne.

The backs in the 49ers are pretty terrible though. 80 - Ovr - R.Bush. Carlos Hyde is 77. You would think that Hayne would be about 65.
