Since we've still got a few months before the NFL kicks off again I thought I'd start a thread about the game. Anyone else got the game?? 99-03?? Ive got 2003 and ive been playin it pretty solidly for the last 6 months. So anyway post ur thoughts on the game, or ur current franchise status and so on. I hope theres a few more madden fans in here...

I had the game but left it with some homeless kids in Chile who were being looked after by a friend....great game and I think I need to get myself another copy!

Yeah cool. Has anyone finished minicamp?? I can do everything up to all pro, and theres about half i haven't gotten yet on all madden....ireckon swat ball and trench flight are the hardest. That game's soundin good Paullyboy, Green Bay v Minnesota. Good to see you in leagueunlimited.

Yeh trench fight is my biggest challenge on mini camp, after a while i just gave up and kept my vikings franchise going. To make it a little more realistic I decided to only sign players who's OVR was less than 50 - and i swear my team is more and more like the real vikings every day

Great stuff. I finally did the trench flight one. Ive got gold on everyone now, except for all madden pocket presence, and all madden swat ball. :? So hard....Madden 2004 out in about 3 weeks. How good is that gonna be!!?? New ownership mode, build a stadium, i cant wait.

on Madden 2003 gold on pocket presence gives you John Elway or Steve Young, cant remember, and DB Swat Ball gives you Deion Sanders (this was on ps2 anyway). Best way to complete the Swat Ball is to just knock the ball down and catch it on the one up the middle, well it worked for me.


I have had Madden 2004 for a week now and it kicks some mege ass! In Franchise you put your players through Training camp (using the mini-camp drills) and you can directly attribute points to a stat related to the mini-camp depending on how well you do.

Madden is the greatest NFL game ever!

I've got Madden 2002 on PS2 and 2003 on xbox. Friday Madden 2004 comes out I thought but I'll be getting it for sure.

I can't wait. The Eagles will smash the everyone again 8)

madden 2004 is just perfect..well close too...

the passing is harder and alot more animations..also the new franchise great you can upgrade your staduim or relocate your team.

i play madden online more then i play against the cpu..if anyone has madden 2004 and is up for an ass kicking private msg me here

G`day guys, Yeah i`ve got Madden 97, 98, 99, 00, 03, and I recently only just got Madden 2004 for the PS2, it is off the friggen charts man, its the greatest sports game OUT THERE!!! seriously get your hands on it if your a NFL madmen like myself.

What's the management side like, buying, selling players, negotiating contracts...all of that. And is mini camp still there??

What`s it like well lol, The management is very very effective to put it one way, You can use your head in the game to win games even in the hardest levels I find. Ok the gameplay you can make plays up on the field and change recievers routes into different patterns and block with lead blockers/FB`S/TE`S up field by simply touching your analogue sticks, its awsome. Defence you can change patterns for the Free and Strong safties aswell, say if the team your playing is on offence and are stacked up with say for example twin TE SETS, with 2 receivers on one said and only one on the other. You can change your safeties at the last second to fall away to the side to where you thinkthe O is headed for all the side thats stacked up.....Just very tricky things like that make this game worth playing. You can make an owner mode too, set prices, for food, parking, tickets ect... its AWSOME.....but hidden trap don`t go over board with getting your fav players the salary cap screws with you bigtime.
