Recent fued between these two has been quite interesting.

In saying that, one of the things that really annoys me is someone using some form of controversy to promote their new book (in this case Magic).

While I know it's part of the business, it still sh*ts me.

I feel for a bit for Isiah tbh. If Magic had a problem with Isiah's supposed accusations about his sexuality, why not say it to him man to man at the time rather than bring it out now just to get some hype for his book.

I don't feel one tiny bit sorry for Isaiah.

After all, he's the same guy that conspired to freeze Jordan out of the 1985 All Star Game so that he didn't get the ball. He led Detroit's walk-off after getting swept by the Bulls in the 91 Playoffs with a minute still left to play in the game. He assured players in New York of contracts and either traded or cut them within weeks.

He's hardly the definition of a "tell me to my face" type of guy.

Fair enough, although with the 85' all-star game snub, he did get his comeuppance by being frozen out of the 92 dream team.

My angle is more that most of the things you mentioned didn't really have anything to do with Magic himself. Apart from these allegations, I can't remember hearing of bad incidents between the two.

I mean Isiah was one of the main guys that backed Magic's 92 all-star game comeback at a time when few wanted deal with him due to the public perception of HIV.
