Next week is the NSW Cup 'Free Weekend', but there will be one great game on for everyone to get their old school footy hit next Sunday. Foundation Clubs Western Suburbs and Balmain continue the Centenary year celebrations with a special return match at Pratten Park.

Pratten Park was the Magpies home ground from 1922 until 1967 and this is the first time Wests have played there since 1985.

Get there early for the Golden Oldies game, grab a sausage sanga and a spot of grass on the hill and re-live the good old days.

Great day, average weather and worse result, BRET winning something like 34 - 12.

Lots of mud and a good ol fashioned stink contibuted to the nostalgic feel of the day.

was a good day there, loved the feel of the place. wet weather was a bummer.

The final score was 30-12

So BRET got a win hey. Thought they were due for one, but maggies have been going great guns lately.

At Birchgrove we wanted it more and won. At Pratten the Tiges wanted it more.

Shame the side couldn't give the fans the win they were after, but everything else about the day was a success.
