18 Richard PARKER
19 Aaron HEREMAIA
20 Drew DALTON
21 Steve MATTHEWS
22 Joe SWAMY

Duffy for Firsts? or injured? Either way a blow for us. Hopefully Davis can spark something - he looked good earlier in the year. Don't know about Parker back to the bench. He's been our most consistent go forward man.

3 Rocky TRIMARCHI
4 Brad SOPER
5 Justin COVENEY
6 Benjamin ROBERTS
7 Ryan BORG
8 Ben WEIR
9 Samuel HOARE

16 Chris YOUNG
17 Rick WISBY
18 Chester PASELIO

Dalts and Mannion are the only ones to pay a price for last week. Dalton sure as hell wasn't the reason behind the debacle. Some lads on borrowed time here.

Hmmm, Covell still in the backrow. I guess he won't be on the wing for Wests anytime soon  Waitey, do you think Duffy is ready for 1st Grade? That's if he has been selected? :?

More than ready. Duff is all class.

Don't know if he's in. The word at NSO was in two weeks time. He copped a minor injury, but finished the match. So either explanation is in the frame. I can think of better games to make my debut though.

With Sheens picking a forward pack for the first time since he got here at least you'll have a chance of competing. But let's be serious a Tiger win would shock their fans as much as anyone. Beating a wooden spoon favourite is one thing, getting over a team that's a big shot of winning the big one again in front of their fans on TV? - well that's something else entirely.

In your favour is the natural lift Satts and Elford are going to have against their own team, about the strongest possible selection you can have at this time considering the injuries, and the debut of a very, very dangerous player who is old and experienced enough to not be overawed.

The biggest negative you face is that you won on the weekend. We all know what happens the week after a Tigers win.

The Panthers coming off a loss and with all their rep players fresh though will be too good. Tip against the Tiges and then you'll at least be in a win-win situation. ;-)

Not sure, if Robbie was an Islander/New Zealander type looking guy, there might be some relations.

I think Liam is as ready as a Farah or Harrison. He's taking a lot of responsibility in the team now and would handle the step back up fine. I honestly think he'd be the best person to take the 6 jersey at the moment. He'll probably end up at lock long term, but he isn't big enough for it yet. He has the skills to handle 5/8 for a few years until someone better comes along though.

Roberts is an enigma. Far too raw to be thought of in Firsts yet. Wouldn't even risk him in Premiers ATM.

Roberts handled Premier League well last year I thought. I agree Fulton would be a good lock, but I'd play him as a second rower so De Gois can be used as a lock. It's useless having him play hooker when Farah is there.

So Liam perhaps in the Anasta mould, if making a comparison of positioning. Starting off as a 5/8th when first breaking to 1st Grade back in 2001 as he lacked the required size, now finding and cementing himself as a lock as he has developed and filled out.
