Also good news Wests / Magpie fans.

The 2006 Magpie jumpers will finally go on sale at the game this Friday night for $100

The 2006 Wests Magpies jersey features:
- A return to the black jumper with the white double V
- The new Wests Magpies logo on the right breast
- The NSWRL logo on the left breast
- Wests Ashfield sponsorship on the back.
- Campbelltown City Hotel sponsorship on the sleeves

The jerseys are also available for purchase from the Magpies Office at the UWS Unifit Gym ($100) during business hours and will also be available from http://www.westsmagpies.net from early next week ( $100 + postage and handling )

This jersey is great way to show support for the Wests Magpies and Wests Tigers especially for the retro game next week at Campbelltown against the Raiders.

If the magpies can play with the determination they did the first time there two teams met at Campbelltown this year, we are in for a great game!

My heart says Wests but my head says the Pride of Putney will win it at home by a big margin.

The only reason we haven't got a jersey up for sale is that the manufacturer/supplier is HOPELESS!!!!!! I've seen shoddy samples for six months and they still haven't got it right.

It was a great game of footy. Real tough! Plenty of passion exists between these two clubs and it was on display last night!

The hit ups, the tackles, the on fielf talk, the off field geerz, and that two magpies were given time in the bin!

Balmain deserved the win but the magpies were in this game right up until BRETs last try.

The magpies are there own worst enemy, they just can't finish what they start and after a heap of hard work seem to laps for 1 second and let in easy try's!

Its been the story of they year!

And Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown may as well scrub Leagues from their name!

Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown is located right next door to Campbelltown Stadium. They are supposed to be the Home of League in the Macarthur area. The local leagues club raising money for Rugby League in the region.

Like most leagues clubs they have the rule that no football jumpers are to be allowed into the club after 7:00pm except after a football match.

Well, it seems Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown doesn't apply those rules any more to Wests Magpies games!

I was told by the doorman that I wasn't allowed in with my brand new, clean Wests Magpies jumper after the Wests game against Balmain (the other joint venture partner of the Wests Tigers!)

You are now only allowed to wear a football jumper into this supposed Leagues club after a Wests Tigers Campbelltown match! (All 3 of them!)

Great to see Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown, the once proud home of the Wests Magpies no longer supports their local team!

Whats more I would like to make it clear Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown now have totally distanced themselves from the Wests Magpies.
They now no longer provide ANY money for the Wests Magpies Football club!

NONE!

ZILCH!

Yet a senior figure from Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown (I wont mention names due to legal threats made by the leagues club! They are scared the truth will come out!) is on the Wests Tigers board and was involved with allowing Balmain to recieve all Wests Tigers contracted players who don't make the WT's 17.

That means in part thanks to a Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown senior figure, who is meant to represent the Wests Magpies side of the joint venture (THOUGH THEY NO LONGER SUPPORT WESTS MAGPIES IN ANY WAY!) allowed Balmain to get all Magpie players who were contracted by Wests Tigers.
This has made Balmain the A-Grade Premier LEague team and the Magpies basically a B-grade team. Wests Magpies and the people of the Macarthur have been given the rough end of the stick by its own people who were meant to look after them!

Why is WESTS LEAGUES CLUB CAMPBELLTOWN allowed to represent the Wests Magpies side of the joint venture when they provide nothing to the Wests Magpies?

And why arn't we allowed to wear our Wests Magpies jumper in to a WESTS Leagues club after a WESTS game!

Thank God for Wests Leagues Club Ashfield! Without their support, there would no longer be a Wests Magpies or a senior representative team in the Macarthur.

A 16 point win then must be a worry.

It is imo, I mean a wins a win and the points are great but honestly thats not the sort of form I think we want to be taking into the finals.

As for Wests Campo - Its getting beyond a joke honestly, I don't understand why they are trying to actively alienate rugby league, and especially magpies fans.

That Wests LC story is a terrible read. What chance is there of a regime change? I thought Norths had it bad but this is terrible.

I just don't understand why Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown has decided to remove all support for the Wests Magpies?

From memory the reason the club was built in the first place was to help Rubgby League in the area, esp the Wests Magpies.

Seems now they don't want anything to do with them yet are happy to take the spoils of the Wests Tigers success without supporting the foundations its built on.

Wests Leagues Club Campbelltown:
- Removed the Magpie from all club logos, the building, promotional material replacing it with a hyper coloured palm tree.
- Ceased all financial support of the Wests Magpies Football Club
- Voted to allow Wests Tigers contracted players to be moved from Magpies to the Balmain Tigers with no compensation to the Magpies.
- Wont allow Wests Magpies jumpers into the club after a Premier League game at the Campbelltown Stadium which is located right next door.

Do they sponsor the junior rep teams (Matthews, Ball and Flegg)?

If not, I'd start going to the local media.

They sponsor the jWestern Suburbs Junior District League (U6's - U12's) and a High School Cup competition.

but not the Wests Magpies Harrold Matthews, SG Ball, Jersey Flegg or Premier League sides. They have basically ditched the magpies all together!
