Maiava signed for 2 years by the Sharkies, who also snatched Covell. I didn't know he was off contract from the Doggies.

Surely he was a player worth looking at. Seems like an enforcer type, and we all know Tiges need em.

Far too young. After he's played for 6 years at the Sharkies, and gets goes to England for a season, then, and only THEN will we look at him. We're starting to become like the Sydney Kings in the late 90's. We're becomig a big Retirement home. I hope Nick Grahams' staked out a good spot at the staring window (Simpsons fans would get that analagy)

This from the man who thought Graham was a good buy, i thought the same thing untill i saw him play what a joke, no wonder anderson let him go to england, why dont we ask sirro to put the boots back on or blocker they only have to play for 20-30 minutes these days, they couldn't do much worse then some of our forwards.................

Isn't Maiava like 29 or somthing anyways?

Yeh mid 20's. I suggested we sign him a few years ago. Lavers went and signed soft second rowers. Maiava would walk straight into our team.
