What do you Roosters fans think of James Maloney? Seems to have gone missing for most of this year. Big talent, but not doing much. Is he a keeper?

Based on the one good year one bad year theory, I'd keep him for next year

Even without that theory I want him at the club
He is a talent and I'm quite happy with him at five eighth.

2nd in the NRL this year for try and line break assists with only Thurston in front of him.

Yeah I wouldn't call this year 'bad', just a bit inconsistent, like most of the team.

Think he's got another year and definitely a keeper for 2015. After that, we'll see what happens.

I thought he was disappointing this year TBH except for the very back end

He had a quiet year yeah but he should bounce back. He just needs to find that hunger again. I don't think he will ever have a year like 2013 but he will remain a good player. One of the better 5/8's of the game. And he hardly misses a goal.
