man marker on JT

Heading up to Nth Qld for the game against the cows, whats the best way to nullify JT?

Should we imploy a man marker on him with Heighnington and maybe flanigan playing 40mins each and not giving JT the room he craves? he averages 2-3 touches a set.

Shut him down and you shut down the cows IMO

side note to this is.....
cowboys have scored 92 points this season, JT has 44 of them and has kicked every goal attempted this season.

State of Origin 2007 - Game 2. The Blues barrelled Thurston early with some big hits and totally put him off his game.

Fulton, Gibbs, Heighington and Galloway - must put the shoulder into him in the first 10 minutes.

Test his headgear out.

Make him whinge - just like in the 2005 GF

The best way to defend against JT is too hold off him.
Keep a straight line - if you panic or rush out...it opens up opportunties for him.

Keep a straight line and he himself will panic and do something stupid and turn over the ball.

All of them were in front bar 2. The one from the sideline was good, but the first he missed is absolutely inexcusable.
