NRL to look at Hasler comments

The National Rugby League is expected to investigate comments made by Manly coach Des Hasler over referee Tony Archer's performance in the Sea Eagles' record loss to Parramatta last round.

Hasler questioned why leading whistle blower Tim Mander was the video referee for the 52-12 loss and criticised Archer's 13-5 penalty count against Manly.

Also the NRL investigated charging Hoppa with spitting on a ch.9 camera man however it was decided that it couldn't be proven that the spit was directed DELIBRATLY at the camera man even though the said spit landed on the camera lens
