At this stage, it's confirmed that they'll be sending 6-8 players a week up to QLD to play for the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles in the QLD Cup. It's unlikely they will field a NSW Cup team, unless they can somehow conjure up an agreement with Belrose or something. If they can't, then I presume the numbers heading north for the QLD Cup will increase.
Hope that helps!
On NRL News, Steve Mascord stated that the new Sunshine Coast club with the underbacking from Manly, would seek for its own NRL license. http://bigpondvideo.com/NRL/79146
The comment is towards the end of the video after the world cup commentary
They are definitely not having a Reserve Grade and the agreement with the Sunshine Coast is that all fit and unrequired NRL players will play Qld Cup with the Sunny Coast. Manly have spent $millions on the joint venture. They are seriously committed to make this affiliation work. They see it as being vital for the long term survival of the club.
Interesting backup plan incase Scott Penn and Delmege run.
