Why isn't this bloke just sponsoring Manly for $5 million? Why does he want half the club? Papers said he's related to peter peters. Where has he been in the last 6 years?

Max Delmege coughed up cash to sponsor Manly and save their backsides. But this bloke wants half the club. Why??

Footy clubs don't make profits. he'll never get his dough back as profits. His marketing business is in a very competitive cut-throat industry.

In response, could Manly fans not whine about these facts but express genuine concern.

We will see who is desperate MR GEORGE :roll:

A wise move and we aren't the only club that have investers owning part of the club...ever heard of the Broncos or Melbourne Storm....and the Warriors are owned 100% by Watson....are you still clutching at straws doctor death :roll:

Like Parra, we didn't want News Ltd money or anything to do with SL!

Yes MR GEORGE, this is a bloke who has supported Manly all his life and wants to see us successful....just like I would fork out my hard earned and I'm sure you would for Parra if you had a spare $10 mil lying around for the next few years! I think it's good for our game and if Parra or any other club did it, I wouldn't have aproblem at all to see our code stronger!

Yes, Chile. he loves Manly so much that he waits while Manly almost collapses, is saved by Max Delmege then, instead of sponsorship, wants half the club for $5 million, a pittance.

Remember, Manly have more News Ltd connections than Rupert. that's why you managed to keep your licence when you were broke. That's why I reckon you'll move to the Gold Coast with a swag of News Ltd cash just like you did several years ago.

Fish, you can't rewrite history.

Manly have shown that, if the dollars are there, they'll relocate.

Manly Leagues and News Ltd own and run Manly now. Arko lives in the Gold Coast.

Guess what happens next???

Fish, you can't rewrite history.

I am not the one trying to rewrite history,I have supported Manly for 21 years and I can never remember them moving to the Gold Coast for the money as you stated earlier.

I said: "I reckon you'll move to the Gold Coast with a swag of News Ltd cash just like you did several years ago". Another year of English for you at school would have done wonders.

Now, why don't you contact the Manly club and get a definite guarantee that you won't move to the Gold Coast???

For our slow friend Dr Death

From the AGM notice regarding the Changing of Manly Warringah DRLFC consititution.

Further Key features of the proposed arrangements for the new company structure are that;
1) The leagues club will appoint 4 directors to the board of 7 directors; and
2) The colours of the team shall remain MAROON AND WHITE;
3) The team's logo will continue to be the SEA EAGLE; and
4) BROOKVALE OVAL will remain the home of the Manly Warringah Seaeagles.

Theres your gruantee in writing if you would like i could fax this to you.

Now i have a question for you mate. You are obviously a bitter and disappointed Norths fan and thats understandable i would be disapointed if manly after not winning for 80 years was dead but tell me how is all this manly bashing of yours helping norths get back in the NRL.
Dont you think your time would be better spent setting up petitions, getting business men involved and holding rallys like souths did rather than just coming across as a pathetic little whinger.

I want the best for rugby league. If truly objective people were given a choice as to what is best for rugby league, the choices would be:

1. a fully funded team playing out of the central coast in a magnificent stadium bringing the people of the central coast and the north shore of Sydney back to rugby league; OR
2. a fading, soon-to-be bankrupt nomadic Manly team, on News Ltd life support, ripe for relocation (as done before), desperately looking for anything to stay alive - even flogging half the club for a pittance.

The choice is clear. Central Coast Bears backed by Singo for 20 years. Manly relocated to the Gold Coast.

Everyone's happy. Arko has a local team again.
