Manly v Warriors Round 22

Just a heads up for those of you Sydney based that may have been planning a trip to Brookvale, this clash has now been moved up to Gosford

Round 26 was originally set to be played in Gosford but Manly have switched the games around to give Joe Galuvao and Brent Kite the appropriate sendoffs

Cheers.

This might help the Warriors. Although we'll have less fans at the game in Gosford we can usually do without playing at Brookvale.

Especially considering we'll probably have to keep winning at that late stage.

Was it last year that Manly shifted a Brookvale game against us to Perth? I see a pattern forming here...

Perhaps they think they'll get more through the gates up at Gosford than they would at Brookvale against the Warriors. Cause can I ask how often do Warriors supporters go to away games (ones who aren't based in Australia that is) please enlighten me

Pretty sure the decision was made mostly in respect to Galuvao and giving him a proper send off, a lot of fans were unhappy that the final round game wasn't going to be at Brookie so to the clubs credit they looked at it

It partly depends on how we're performing of course but we get decent away crowds in Sydney. We'd probably be one of the better drawcards at Brookvale as a lot of kiwis live in the local area, and Brookvale is quite out of the way from other parts of Sydney so we'd probably out-draw some Sydney teams there (ie Cronulla or Penrith).

Beavers Headgear, How'd you go on Friday night? That was an incredible game.

Manly's attack was really one dimensional in the first half - just DCE bombs (the bane of the NRL right now). I missed their comeback as I thought it was a dud game up to that point.

There was also a really annoying Manly fan in the bar dropping verbal bombs about 'terrorists', no wonder you're hated!

Would have enjoyed it more if the video ref did his job and Hayne didn't take the milking at the end of the game !!

That kind of fan is a dime a dozen at every club

I'm too scared to go into the Manly forum for a look right now. It'd no doubt be going off.

No one wants look inside the Eels' forum at any time, it's a fright.

The Bulldogs win was a kick in the guts for the Warriors too. We can't have these sides in the bottom half of the eight get too far ahead.

As we agreed, it's a given that Manly will make the finals. So they may as well keep winning.
