Well don't everybody congratulate the Sea Eagles on their world cup victory over the Rhino's!
Come on people put your hands together.
Acknowledge their achievement.
They've done the NRL and themselves proud.
At least give them that.
I missed the first 30 minutes of the game so I can't comment.
The game was advertised as starting at 5:30am then 6am, even 7am as well some where and it actually started at 5am!
I got up at 5:30am and caught the last 10 minutes of the first half.
I'll tell you what.....your defense in that first half (what I saw) was first class.
I think you Manly mob have MLB to thank for your hard-line approach to league!
The Manly defense was brutal!
They attacked in numbers and cut the Rhino's down giving them no space to move.
The Rhino's couldn't get out of the 20 yard zone.
You know, watching Saturday's Charity Shield game Dragon's and Souths.....then watching Manly this morning.....you can see the class difference and how far apart Manly are from the rest of the squad.
If Manly were to play either St. George or Souffs right now they'd slaughter them.
Manly and MLB, and to a lesser extent BRS, will lead the NRL for the next 5 years.
They're a class above the average.
The Rhino's try to Mighty Mouse McGuire in the first half.....one, they bowled over a Manly player to begin with and two, Maguire knocks on - they rule it a try anyway.
2 errors in that play and they still awarded it a try!

The down side, Manly......your second half....Hmm....what to make of it? You leaked too many points, guys!
It was the Lyon/Robinson flank that was leaking and they kept attacking there! Work on that - other NRL teams would've noted it.
See those 3 tries in 5 minutes in the second half? That practically nailed Leeds coffin.
That second try in the second half off the winger's kick was awesome! You can't coach that that's natural talent. Brilliant but how the F did that big forward (Bailey) run Stewart down? I noted Robinson and the wolfman got run down in open space too.
Slowing down are we?
That Donald chap still has some motor.
Getting back to that second try in the second half....the winger kicks it over, Stewart scoops it up and the first thing Eddie Flemming and the other guy said was, ''he's offside!''
I don't think they should have had an Aussie ref running proceedings!
I'm for Robinson - he's a good up and coming ref, but he did make a few blunders there.
That 3 for Leeds being tackled and ruled by the ref to play on yet he played the ball and was penalized ????????
Keith Senior was ruled to have sheparded there near the end ??? Gee, I dunno.
Anyway.
Hey Manly? I owe you guys an apology because I wrote you off in the grand final last year and thought MLB would nab you again.
